"For anyone - and I mean anyone - in the Melrose area who is looking for a fantastic dog walking service, you cannot get any better than Penny's Dog Walking Service. I have been extremely fortunate. My yellow lab mix who is a rescue has only had 2 walkers in her 9 years (now 3). The first left me after 6 years to travel the country with her own hound.
I found Penny who agreed to take on my hound and myself as clients. She and her group of walkers took excellent care of my little girl. I was nervous at first, leaving her with a new walker but that quickly went away. I do not have a normal 9-5 or Monday-Friday schedule but Penny was able to accommodate me at every twist and turn. Sandy would greet her with the enthusiasm that I or my girl friend would get upon our return from a long day of work.
Unfortunately we had to move out of Melrose at the end of April, a community that I called home for a number of years. I can honestly say I consider Penny and her employees part of the family and I think you will also if you are fortunate enough to have her walk and care for your 4 legged member of the family.
PS.........I do not give 5 stars normally for ANYTHING but I will for PENNY's Dog Walking!"

"When I first went back to work last year, I was worrried about leaving Sophie all day. A friend of mine recommended Penny and her crew. Although I worked two days, I would often call on them to walk Sophie other days, and they were always able to accommodate us! This year my schedule has been totally erratic and once again they have been able to walk Sophie anytime I ask, even on extremely short notice. Sophie has also stayed with a few of the dog walkers when we've gone on vacation. She is welcomed, loved and cared for as their own. I don't know what I'd do without Penny's Dog Walking!"

"Despite years of thoughtful research, our working parent home suddenly found ourselves with a new puppy over a weekend. We sent out a couple of frantic emails and phone calls to some local dogwalkers, thinking we were in big trouble for the coming weeks. In her first email to us, Penny had already provided us with the names of two of her favorite dog training books. When we met Penny and Carolyn a few hours later it was clear to us that we wanted them on our team to raise our baby Bear. We have had the utmost peace of mind from that first Monday and every day since. Penny, Carolyn, Catherine, Fatima and Paula have been totally dependable, reliable and most importantly, loving. Through potty training, crate training, clicker training, stomach bug, post neutering care and even dealing with puppy leash biting, they have been such an important part of our village in every kind of weather.
Even when we had to leave our puppy for a family vacation, Penny helped us find a wonderful home for our pup while we were away. When we say that Penny goes above and beyond, we really mean it. Penny got locked into our shed (luckily with her cell phone) and instead of firing us for being irresponsible homeowners, she joked about enjoying some peace and quiet and putting candy and comics in the shed for the next captive. She then came over with her drill to help us install an emergency pull latch on the inside of the doors. We are so impressed by the genuine care shown by Penny and her team. You know for sure your dog is truly loved when Penny and her warm gang of moms have more names of affection for your dog than you do yourself!"

Penny and her team have been walking our dog Maizie on 1 day per week for almost a year. Our experience with them has been great and I would highly recommend. I always know who will be coming to walk our dog and if a new walker joins the schedule, Penny brings her/him to the house so they can meet the dog and my wife and I. They are completely dependable and trustworthy. Penny is also very flexible and seems to be able to accommodate any change we need to make on short notice! We love reading the notes left by the walkers to let us know how everything went.

"I can't speak highly enough of the whole team at Penny's Dog Walking. While I am fortunate enough to bring my dog to work with me most days, Penny is so flexible and responsive that she is always able to accommodate me when I need to schedule dog walks when business travel comes up. I have a fairly neurotic dog that some days wants to walk and some days not so much. Penny's team always tries to get her to walk but if my crazy pup doesn't want to walk they know to play with her in the backyard and give her a good dose of love and attention. Because I am not on a regular schedule, I have various members of Penny's team coming to the house depending on their availability the day I need them and I have been happy with each one and completely trust Penny to only hire trustworthy, kind, dog-lovers.
